InConcert3D, AEG Live, Action 3D Productions, and RealD have partnered up to bring the latest concert of the Dave Matthews Band nationwide in stereoscopic 3D using some new technology that brings the production costs down significantly.

Colorful Stars Galore Inside Globular Star Cluster Omega Centauri

NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope snapped this panoramic view of a colorful assortment of 100,000 stars residing in the crowded core of a giant star cluster.

During Comic Con Jon Favreau told MTV that he wanted to use 3D for ‘Iron Man 2,’ but that it didn’t work out, and that he’d like to do it for the next film. He also said that IMAX was a great option and seemed to imply that an IMAX blowup could be a solution for ’Iron Man 2.’

‘Toy Story’ and ‘Toy Story 2’ will be a double-feature for two weeks starting on October 2nd. ‘Toy Story 3’ will then hit theaters on June 18th, 2010.

Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment are joining forces to turn the Dr. Seuss book “The Lorax” into a 3-D CG animated feature.  The picture is targeted for a March 2, 2012, release.
