Leonardo DiCaprio will narrate the Hubble 3D film set to debut March 19, Warner Bros. Pictures and IMAX Corp.announced Wednesday.

3D Blu-ray is one of the big stories at CES 2010, and it’s no surprise that Sony is a major player in Blu-ray’s next incarnation. Sony announced its first standalone 3D Blu-ray player, the BDP-S770, which also manages to integrate the best features of its current Blu-ray players.
The Irvine, Calif.-based company today announced its “XVT Pro” series of LED sets in four sizes — 47 inches, 55 inches and 72 inches, plus a 58-inch “cinema wide” model that displays content in a 21 by 9 format. They’ll go on sale in August.
The 47-inch model will list for $1,999, the 55-incher is $2,499 and the 72-incher is $3,499.

Watching a game live and in 3D in a theater or bar could be cool, but not when you’re actually at the event when it is in 3D in front of you already.

The Cowboys will host the first ever public demonstration of HDlogix real rime conversion of 2D HDTV Video into 3D, to be followed by the first live 3D broadcast on Cowboys Stadium’s giant Mitsubishi video boards.
At halftime and during the Cowboys-San Diego Chargers game, the Cowboys will use HDlogix technology to power the live 3D broadcast.
Beginning Friday and running through Dec. 17, Larger Than Life in 3D collects shows by Dave Matthews from the Austin City Limits Music Festival in Texas; Ben Harper and the Relentless7 during Denver’s Mile High Music Festival; and gypsy punks Gogol Bordello during the All Points West Music & Arts Festival in New Jersey.
