3-D Is Coming

Burberry is set to live stream its fall runway show in 3-D in New York, Paris, Dubai and Tokyo, WWD reports.

To be produced by Brian Grazer, the movie will be released in 2012 in 3-D.

It will open on its new release date of January 14, 2010.

Tonight’s Grammy Awards (8pm ET/PT) will show a never-before-seen 3-D film created for Jackson’s environmentally conscious tune “Earth Song.” That short film, which requires special 3-D glasses (available at Target outlets), was supposed to have made its debut in London during the ill-fated “This Is It” concerts.

Leonardo DiCaprio will narrate the Hubble 3D film set to debut March 19, Warner Bros. Pictures and IMAX Corp.announced Wednesday.

3D Blu-ray is one of the big stories at CES 2010, and it’s no surprise that Sony is a major player in Blu-ray’s next incarnation. Sony announced its first standalone 3D Blu-ray player, the BDP-S770, which also manages to integrate the best features of its current Blu-ray players.
